Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking quashing of FIR No.65 dated 30.01.2018, registered for offence under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Quilla Panipat, District Panipat, Annexure P-1, final report under Section 173 of the Code, Annexure P-2, and charge-sheet dated 21.12.2018, Annexure P-3, along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.
Reply by way of an affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Panipat has been filed on behalf of State-respondent No.1, which is taken on record.
State counsel has placed on record judgment dated 27.04.2021 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court), Panipat to submit that the trial has concluded and the accused-petitioner has been acquitted. She submits that the petition has become infructuous.
Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
