This is the second petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking quashing of FIR No.141 dated 14.11.2018, registered for offences under Sections 363 and 366 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Balachour, District SBS Nagar, Annexure P-1, along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of the affidavit dated 15.12.2020, executed by Palavi Sharma- respondent No.3, Annexure P-5.
Upon instructions received from ASI, Pawan Kumar, State counsel submits that the petitioner has been acquitted vide judgment dated 02.05.2022.
In the light of the statement made by the State counsel, counsel for the petitioner seeks and is granted permission to withdraw the petition.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
