AVNEESH JHINGAN, J (Oral):
This petition is filed for quashing of F.I.R. No.95 dated
12.02.2018 under Sections 379, 384, 388, 389 and 506 IPC, registered at
Police Station City Bahadurgarh, District Jhajjar and all other
consequential proceedings, on the basis of compromise dated 20.12.2019,
Annexure P/2.
After arguing for some time and realizing that in view of the
judgment of the Supreme Court in State of Madhya Pradesh vs. Laxmi
Narayan and others, 2019(2), RCR (Criminal) 225 there is an issue with
regard to the maintainability of the petition, learned counsel for the
petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the petition.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
Since the main case has been dismissed as withdrawn, the
pending application, if any, is rendered infructuous.
