1. Prayer in thepetition is for initiation of proceedings against

the respondents for intentional and willful defiance of order Annexure

P/1 dated 13.12.2018, in CWP-4252-2015.

2. A perusal of order Annexure P/1 reveals that CWP-4252-

2015, was allowed vide order dated 13.12.2018 and the petitioner was

held entitled to retiral benefits and pension for the period he had actually

served, with the needful to be done within two months from the date of

judgment.

3. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner states that

the petitioner has been released retiral benefits and pension in terms of

order Annexure P/1 but the same have been released belatedly, therefore,

although she does not press the instant petition but prays for grant of

liberty to the petitioner to take out appropriate proceedings, in

accordance with law, to seek interest on the delayed release of payment.

4. The same is not opposed to by the learned AAG, Punjab.

5. In view of the position noted above as well as statement of

learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of as not

calling for any action against the respondents under the Contempt of

Courts Act, 1971, while granting liberty to the petitioner as prayed for.
