01.

1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Learned counsel for the Petitioner is permitted to delete the name

of Opposite Party No.2 and retain only the designation.

3. By filing the present CRLMC, the Petitioner has prayed for

quashing of the entire criminal proceeding initiated against her in

connection with Gunupur P.S. Case No.36 of 2018, corresponding to

G.R. Case No.69 of 2018, pending before the learned S.D.J.M.,

Gunupur.

The Petitioner has further prayed for quashing of the order dated

24.02.2026 passed by the learned S.D.J.M., Gunupur, whereby charges ORISSA, CUTTACK Date: 07-Apr-2026 18:55:01

have been framed against the Petitioner, on the ground of absence of

mandatory sanction under Section 197 of the Cr.P.C.

Apart from the above, the Petitioner has also prayed for allowing

the discharge petition and for quashing the order dated 10.02.2026

passed by the learned S.D.J.M., Gunupur in G.R. Case No.69 of 2018.

5. Issue notice.

6. Learned counsel for the State waives notice on behalf of Opposite

Parties. Let two extra copies of the brief be served on him within

three working days hence. He is directed to file reply within two

weeks from the date of receipt of the brief.

7. List this matter on 20th April, 2026.

8. Heard.

9. Issue notice as above.

10. Accept one set of process fee.

11. As an interim measure, it is directed that further proceedings in

G.R. Case No.69 of 2018, pending before the learned S.D.J.M.,

Gunupur, as well as operation of the order dated 24.02.2026 passed

by the learned S.D.J.M., Gunupur, shall remain stayed till the next

date of listing of this matter.

12. Issue urgent certified copy of this order as per Rules.
