                                               ORDER

11.08.2025 Order No.

01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid mode.

2. Heard Mr. B.P. Bahali, learned counsel for the Petitioners as well as learned counsel for the State.

3. By filing the present review petition the Petitioners seek to review the judgment dated 24.07.2025 under Annexure-1 to the review petition.

4. Mr. Bahali, learned counsel for the Petitioners at the outset contended that although on the basis of the decision taken by the Cabinet, a three years' relaxation was granted to the candidates across all categories, however, while delivering the judgment dated 24.07.2025 an important aspect of the matter has been completely lost sight of. In the aforesaid context, he referred to Clause-8 of the

advertisement which provides for the eligibility criteria for direct recruitment and under Clause-8 (1) the age limit has been prescribed for different categories of candidate. He further specifically referring to Clause-8(1)(b) contended that the five years' age relaxation has been granted to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC category, however, no such relaxation has been granted to the women category candidates. On the contrary, the advertisement dated 17.01.2025, which has been filed as Annexure-1 to the review petition, provides five years age relaxation to the women candidate across all categories. As such, the aforesaid relaxation to the women category candidates is in violation of the Rules.

5. Learned counsel for the State sought for some time to obtain instruction in this matter.

6. Considering the gravity of issue, list this matter on 13th August, 2025.
