02. This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).

Heard Mr. Amit Prasad Bose, learned counsel for the appellant.

This Criminal Appeal has been filed by the informant against the judgment and order dated 07.03.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Kantabanjhi in Sessions Case No.70 of 2022, whereby the private opposite parties have been acquitted.

Vide order dated 21.04.2025 we wanted to know from the State as to whether there is any proposal to file the appeal against the impugned order on behalf of the State.

Learned counsel for the State submits that pursuance to the order dated 21.04.2025, on 23.04.2025 a letter has been issued to the Superintendent of Police, Bolangir. However, he has not responded as yet.

Therefore, we asked learned counsel for the State to get the appearance of the Superintendent of Police, Bolangir through virtual mode. Accordingly, Mr. Ajay Kumar Tirkey, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bolangir appeared before this Court through virtual mode and submitted that he has received the letter today and has taken necessary steps to enquire about the stand of the State Government. The written instruction dated 06.08.2025 has been placed on record.

In view of the request made by Mr. Tirkey, fifteen days' time is granted him to obtain necessary instruction in the matter.

Put up this matter in the week commencing from 01.09.2025.
