   01.           This   matter    is    taken     up   through   Hybrid

arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).

This is an application for condonation of delay in preferring the appeal against the impugned judgment and order of conviction.

The Stamp Reporter has pointed out that there is a delay of three hundred six days in filing this criminal appeal.

After going through the averments taken in the interim application and on hearing the learned counsel for both the parties, since it is a case where the

petitioner has been sentenced to life imprisonment, we are inclined to condone the delay in filing the CRLA.

Accordingly, the delay is condoned. I.A. is disposed of.

Admit.

Call for the trial Court record. The interim applications for bail and stay realization of fine shall be considered after receipt of the trial Court record.

At the stage, learned counsel for the appellant submits that co-accused persons have faced trial along with the appellant and convicted, have preferred separate criminal appeals i.e. CRLA No.351 of 2024, CRLA No.415 of 2024 and CRLA No.467 of 2024 and in those criminal appeals, trial Court record has also been called for.

The Registry shall verify the availability of trial

Court record in the aforesaid criminal appeals and if it is not available, then trial Court record shall be called for.

In view of such submission, list this matter along with CRLA No.351 of 2024, CRLA No.415 of 2024 and CRLA No.467 of 2024 on 13.05.2025.
