01. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode in the 3rd National Lok Adalat, 2023.

2. Learned Counsel for the parties are present and files the Joint Compromise Petition indicating therein that parties have arrived at a compromise without coercion and undue influence and settled the dispute at Rs.7,00,000/- (Rupees seven lakhs) towards consolidated compensation amount against the compensation awarded vide impugned judgment dated 25.07.2023 passed in E.C. Case No.148 of 2015. The Joint Compromise Petition be kept on record.

3. As agreed between the parties, the amount as indicated above shall be deposited by the Insurance Company before the Commissioner for Employees Compensation-cum-Divisional Labour Commissioner, Odisha in shape of cheque within eight weeks hence. On deposit of such amount, the Commissioner shall disburse the same in favour of Respondent No.1 (claimant before the court below) at the earliest in accordance with law.

4. Accordingly, the FAO is disposed of.
