06. National Lok Adalat, 2023.

2. Learned Counsel for the Parties are present and have filed the Joint Compromise Petition indicating therein that the Parties have arrived at compromise without coercion and undue influence and settled the dispute/claim at Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One lakh fifty thousand) towards further consolidated compensation amount over and above the awarded amount, which has already been disbursed in favour of the claimant, in terms of the impugned judgment dated 10.11.2021 passed in Misc. Case No.537 of 2009.

3. As agreed by the Parties, the enhanced amount, as indicated above, shall be deposited by the Insurer-Company before the Tribunal in shape of a cheque within eight weeks hence.

4. On deposit of the said amount, the Tribunal shall disburse the same in favour of the Appellant (claimant before the court below) in accordance with law, at the earliest.

5. Accordingly, the MACA stands disposed of.
