07. This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).
This is an application for bail. Mr. S.C. Mohapatra, learned counsel appearing for the appellants submitted that he has instruction that the appellant was taken into judicial custody in connection with this case on 08.03.2011 and he was released from custody after being granted bail on 12.09.2011 and thereafter since the date of pronouncement of the judgment i.e. on 25.11.2017, the appellant was taken into custody and as such he has already undergone half of the substantive sentence imposed by the learned trial // 2 //
Court.
Let the learned counsel for the State produce the custody certificate of the appellant from the concerned Jail Superintendent and also obtain instruction about the criminal antecedents, if any, against the appellant.
List this matter in the week commencing from 24.01.2023.
