CORAM:

ORDER
21.08.2023 Order No.
04. 1. Heard Mr. D.C. Dey, learned counsel for the Appellant-
claimant and Mr. A.A. Khan, learned counsel for the Respondent No.2-Insurance Company.
2. Present appeal by the Appellant-claimant is directed against the judgment dated 13.07.2022 of learned 3rd MACT, Cuttack in M.A.C. Case No.505 of 2017, wherein the learned Tribunal has granted compensation to the tune of Rs.20,000/- along with simple interest @6% per annum to the claimant from the date of filing of the claim application, i.e. 19.07.2017 on account of injury sustained by her in the motor vehicular accident dated 07.06.2017.
3. Upon hearing both the parties and keeping in view the admitted fact that the injured-claimant sustained one simple injury as reflected in the injury report and outdoor ticket under Ext.23 & 22 respectively, I do not see any merit in favour of the Appellant to enhance the compensation amount.
4. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed.
