Heard Mr. Kh. Samarjit, learned DSGI, assisted by Mr. Y. Paikhomba,

learned counsel appearing for the applicants; and Ms. Donapriya, learned counsel

appearing for the respondent.

When the matter is taken up today, the learned DSGI placed before this

Court an order dated 02.06.2023, which has been issued in compliance with the

direction given by the learned Single Judge in the judgment & order impugned in

the connected writ appeal

Mr. Kh. Samarjit, learned DSGI, submitted that since the order and

direction given by the learned Single Judge in the impugned judgment and order

dated 26.11.2019 passed in W.P. (C) No. 471 of 2016 have been complied with,

nothing remains for adjudication on merits. The learned DSGI accordingly prays for

closing the present application as well as the connected writ appeal.

Ms. Donapriya, learned counsel appearing for the respondent, also fairly

submitted that the authorities have issued a fresh order dated 02.06.2023

purportedly in compliance with the direction given by the learned Single Judge and

accordingly no cause survives for adjudication on merits. She also submitted that

the present application as well as the connected writ appeal can be closed.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the

parties, the present application is hereby closed as infructuous.

Consequently, the connected writ appeal and miscellaneous applications

are also closed as infructuous.
