PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,
to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue the patta for the
petitioner's ancestral properties in S.F.Nos.474/1 with an extent of 0.15.25 Ares
and S.F.No.474/2 with extent of 0.23.05 Ares situates at Okkur Village,
Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District in the petitioner's name by considering
his representation dated 11.07.2025 within a time that may be stipulated by this
Court.

ORDER
The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents for issuance of patta in
relation to two survey numbers and extents described in this writ petition.
2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner traces title
through sale deeds dated 25.03.1933 and 06.12.1941. He has placed on record
the judgment and decree in O.S.No.108 of 2010 on the file of the District
Munsif Court, Sivagangai.
3.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of all the
respondents. By referring to the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer
dated 30.11.2023, he submits that the recommendation has already been made
for issuance of patta to the petitioner and he seeks three months' time to
consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation.

4.In such circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits,
the first and the second respondent are directed to consider and dispose of the
petitioner's representation within three months from the date of receipt of a copy
of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and any
other persons interested in the relevant property. No costs.
