                                                        JUDGMENT

Heard both sides.

2.The appellant is holding the post of Assistant Professor in Government

Law College. He is been serving in Government Law College, Madurai for the

last 6 years. Vide order dated 05.06.2025, he was transferred to Government

Law College, Ramanathapuram. Challenging the same, the appellant filed

W.P(MD)No.16347 of 2025. The learned single Judge vide order dated

19.06.2025 dismissed the writ petition. Aggrieved by the same, this Writ

Appeal has been filed.

3.After hearing both sides, we are not inclined to interfere. The order of

transfer is non-stigmatic. It has been passed for administrative reasons.

Therefore, the appellant is obliged to joint in the transferred place. The

appellant shall joint in the transferred place on 11.07.2025. The intervening

period can be adjusted against the leave standing to the appellant's credit.

4.This Writ Appeal stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
