JUDGMENT
[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus directing the respondents
to consider the representation dated 08.04.2024 and to take action against the
unauthorized construction of Marriage Hall, namely V.M.Kuppusamy Mudaliyar
Manikammal Marriage Hall situated at S.No.1176C/5, Kamarajar Street, Door
No.8A, Kaveripakkam Town Panchayat, Kaveripakkam, Ranipet District.
2. According to the petitioner, the marriage hall, namely V.M.Kuppusamy
Mudaliyar Manikammal Marriage Hall situated at S.No.1176C/5, Kamarajar
Street, Door No.8A, Kaveripakkam Town Panchayat, Kaveripakkam, Ranipet
District is an unauthorized construction posing serious threat to the commuters on
the Bazaar Road, for which the petitioner has made several objections to the first
respondent, but no steps have been taken and therefore, he has filed the instant
writ petition. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that it
would be suffice, if a direction is given to the first respondent to consider the

3. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and
without going into the merits of the same, this Court directs the first respondent to
consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.04.2024, after affording
opportunity to the petitioner as well as the parties concerned and pass appropriate
orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from
the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No
costs.
