                                                      JUDGMENT

The present appeal is filed against the order dated 06.12.2014

passed by the Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.IV, George

Town, Chennai, in C.C.No.114/2002.

2. The present appellant / complainant filed a private complaint

under Section 200 Cr.P.C. against the respondent / accused for an offence

punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. A

perusal of the copy of the adjudication order from 26.12.2013 to

06.12.2014 shows that the complainant (appellant) continuously absented

himself and he did not also take steps against the accused as directed by

the trial court. Therefore, the private complaint was dismissed under

Sections 204(4) and 256 Cr.P.C. on 06.12.2014 as against which, the

present appeal is filed. The appeal is of the year 2015 and till date the

complainant had not served notice on the respondent.

In the circumstances, this Criminal Appeal stands dismissed.
