                                                      JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.]

The Writ Court has dismissed the writ petition recording the

statement of the learned Special Government Pleader that the appellant / writ

petitioner did not secure the requisite marks for qualifying him for

appointment. While doing so, liberty has been given to the appellant to take

appropriate proceedings, if he is able to find that any person with lower marks

is given appointment.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the appellant would submit that

though the appellant had sought for information under the Right to

Information Act, 2005, on 21.02.2023, till date he has not been provided with

the information.

3. Right to Information Act, 2005, is a self-contained Code and it

contains remedies for failure to provide information upon request.

4. Hence, leaving it open to the appellant to approach the

appropriate Authority under the Right to Information Act, 2005, this writ

appeal is dismissed. The liberty granted by the Writ Court is preserved. No

costs.
