Read this order in continuation of order dated 04.07.2023,

wherein, we have noticed at paragraph 2 as follows:

“2.The learned counsel for the respondents states that pending Writ Appeal, the appointment of the writ petitioner has been approved. Let the copy of the order of approval be produced.”

2.Today, a copy of approval dated 27.02.2014 has been

produced before us. We also understand that the appellant has, thereafter,

been promoted through the ranks, which promotion has also been

approved. Thus, it is very clear that the State does not intend to pursue

this Writ Appeal and recording the above, this Writ Appeal is dismissed.

No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
