PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of
India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent
police to give protection to the petitioners or his agents or his men to
construct the compound wall in their property particularly in respect of the
property extent 3 Acres and 87 cents comprised in Survey No.130/5 situated
at Porur Village, Cheiyur Taluk, presently with the Chengalpet Taluk,
Kancheepuram District.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second
respondent police to give protection to the petitioner to construct the
compound wall in his property.
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted
that, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is
pending in CSR No.267 of 2023 on the file of second respondent.
3. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry
and the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the
judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in
2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police
shall take a decision regarding the further course of action. This process
shall be completed by the respondent Police within a period of two (2)
weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
