                                  Criminal Revision Case filed under Section 397 read with 401 Code
                     of Criminal Procedure, as against the Judgment of the Learned Sessions
                     Judge of Namakkal made in C.A.No.16 of 2019, dated 02.09.2020,
                     confirming the conviction and sentence imposed by the Learned Judicial
                     Magistrate No.II, Namakkal, in C.C.No.73 of 2017, dated 24.04.2019
                     convicting the petitioner and imposed six months simple imprisonment and
                     awarded a compensation of Rs.5 Lakhs and Fifty thousand in default to
                     undergo two months simple imprisonment.

                                                                ORDER

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, it is submitted by the

learned counsel for the petitioner that the dispute between the parties has

been settled amicably. To that effect, he has produced a receipt of

settlement before this Court, wherein, the respondent/complainant had

signed in the said receipt, which would show that the

respondent/complainant received the entire amount and the same is taken

on record.

2.In that view of the matter, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed

of, by the following terms:-

(i) The conviction and sentence imposed on the accused/petitioner

vide Judgment dated 24.04.2019 in C.C.No.73 of 2017, on the file of the

Learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Namakkal and which was confirmed by

Judgment dated 02.09.2020, in C.A.No.16 of 2019, on the file of the

Learned Principal Sessions Judge, Namakkal, is set aside;

(ii) The offence is treated as compounded;
