                      Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of
                      Criminal Procedure Code to direct the Additional Sessions Judge,
                      Chengalpattu to recall the Non-Bailable Warrant issued dated
                      11.02.2020 against the petitioners in pending trial in S.C.No.20/2020
                      on the file of the Additional Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu.

(The case has been heard through video conference)

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned

Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent.

2. The petitioners figured as accused in S.C.No.20/2020 on the

file of the Additional Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu.

3. It appears that the trial was almost about to be over but the

petitioners herein had jumped bail. All the material witnesses have

turned hostile in the main case leading to passing of judgment of

acquittal on 28.02.2020 in S.C.No.279 of 2011.

4. The case against the petitioners herein was split up on

account of their absence. The petitioner's counsel states that the they

will appear before the Court below on 09.06.2021. The petitioners

undertake to appear before the Court below on the said date and

sought for recall of the warrant and the Court below shall accept the

petitioner's surrender and recall the warrant on the same day. The

petitioners are willing to extend their cooperation for concluding the

trial. Therefore, the Court below is directed to conclude the trial in

S.C.No.20/2020 on merits and in accordance with law within a period

of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is allowed on the above terms.
