                                                       ORDER

The order challenged in this Civil Revision Petition is dated

25.07.2016. Its an order dismissing the Appeal filed by the predecessor in

interest of the petitioner under the Tamil Nadu Public Premises (Eviction of

Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1975.

2. Nodoubt, there is no limitation for a revision under Article

227 of the Constitution of India, but being constitutional remedy, it has to be

invoked within a reasonable time.

3. This Civil Revision has been filed almost 5 years after the

order of the learned Principal Judge, City Civil Court, dismissing the Appeal.

There is no explanation for the delay and I therefore do not see any ground

to interfere. Hence, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed purely on the

ground of latches. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is

closed. No costs.
