JUDGMENT
The petitioner is pursuing Compulsory Rotating Medical
Internship (CRMI) in the Government Medical College, Pariyaram.
The petitioner is aggrieved by the non-payment of the mandatory
stipend.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner referred to
Ext.P2 judgment rendered by this Court in the case of identically
placed students and submitted that, based on Ext.P2, the
Government had passed Ext.P3 order disbursing the stipend due
to those students.
3. The learned Government Pleader submitted that
the stipend will be released in a time bound manner, following the
procedure prescribed in Ext.P3.
The writ petition is hence disposed of, directing the
respondents to disburse 50% of the stipend due to the petitioner,
from the funds available under Head Account 2210-05-105-80-12-
00(Non Plan) of Kannur Government Medical College, and the
balance 50% from the own funds of the Medical College, within

one month of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
