                             JUDGMENT

V.G.Arun, J.

The learned counsel for the petitioner points out that

as per Clause 15 of Ext.P1 order, the petitioner has been

granted the liberty to make an application before the Kannur

Rural Police Chief, if it becomes absolutely essential for him to

enter Kannur District.

2. Based on the liberty as granted, the petitioner has

submitted Ext.P2 application seeking permission to enter

Kannur District for the purpose of casting his vote in the Lok

Sabha Election scheduled to be held on 26.04.2024 and to

attend certain cases pending against him.

3. The learned Public Prosecutor submits that a

decision on Ext.P2 will be taken without delay.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly, directing

the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2

application, within two days.
