        Prayer for interim relief in the Writ Appeal stating that in the
   circumstances stated in the appeal memorandum, the High Court be pleased
   to allow this Writ Appeal by setting aside the Judgment dated 01.11.2022
   in Writ Petition (C) No.22447 of 2012 in so far as it directs payment of
   50% backwages to the 2nd Respondent and allow the Writ Petition to that
   extent, in the interests of justice.


        This Writ Appeal coming on for orders on 16/10/2023 upon perusing
   the appeal memoradnum, the Court on the same day passed the following:


                                           ORDER

After the matter was heard for sometime, we are of the opinion that this ia a fit case where an attempt to settle the matter through mediation can be resorted to. The learned counsel appearing on either side would also contend that such a course can be attempted.

Post for appearance of the parties for mediation on 30/10/2023 at 10.15 a.m.
