                                     JUDGMENT

The petitioner states that she is a law student pursuing LLB (3

year) course at Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. She has

approached this Court seeking for issuance of directions to the 2nd

respondent to complete the process of scrutiny and revaluation of the 1st

Semester Examination for LLB (3 years) unitary degree course and to

publish the results and to issue provisional degree certification within a

timeframe.

2. A statement has been filed by the learned Standing Counsel on

behalf of the respondent University.

3. In para 4 of the statement it is stated thus:

4. It is also humbly submitted that the results of S1 Unitary LL.B. September 2021 was published on 25.02.2022. The last date for applying scrutiny and revaluation was on 10.03.2022. The revaluation process will begin only after the last date. The Scrutiny of the Answer Scripts is proposed to be conducted from 18.03.2022 to 21.03.2022. As per U.O.No.M&C.I/1/2018/2021, dated 13.08.2021 the time limit for finalising the revaluation results stands 55 days(15+10+30) from the last date for application for revaluation in the case of those applicants who apply for revaluation only."

4. From the statement it appears that the last date for applying for

scrutiny and revaluation was on 10.03.2022. The revaluation process will

begin only after the last date. It is also stated that the time limit for WP(C) NO. 8956 OF 2022

finalising the revaluation results is 55(15+10+30) days from the last date

for application for revaluation. In that view of the matter, I direct the

respondents to conclude the revaluation process within the time stipulated

by the University as per U.O No.M&C.I/1/2008/2021 dated 13.08.2021.

This writ petition is disposed of.
