JUDGMENT
Petitioner is a HST (Physical Sciences), who has
continuous service from 05.06.1995. As per the Rules,
petitioner claims to be qualified and eligible for
promotion and appointment as headmaster. Petitioner
alleges that seniority list has been prepared contrary to
the prevailing Rules and judgments of this Court. He,
therefore, represented to the 4 th respondent and when
there was no response, a revision petition was filed
before the Government as per Ext.P8. Amongst the
various reliefs claimed, petitioner has also sought for a
direction to dispose of Ext.P8.
2. Having regard to the circumstances pointed out and after
hearing the arguments of Sri.V.A.Muhammed, the
learned Counsel for the petitioner as well as Smt.Nisha
Bose, the learned Senior Government Pleader, I am of
WP(C) NO. 1464 OF 2022
the view that this writ petition can be disposed of,
directing a time bound consideration of Ext.P8 revision
petition. In view of the nature of order being issued,
notice to the 7 th respondent is dispensed with.
3. Accordingly, there will be a direction to the 1 st
respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on
Ext.P8, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within
a period of three months from the date of receipt of a
copy of this judgment.
4. Needless to mention that while disposing of the revision
petition, the 1 st respondent shall consider the relevant
decisions including those in Exts.P2 to P5 as well as
after hearing the petitioner and the 7 th respondent.
The writ petition is disposed of.
