                               JUDGMENT

Dated this the 22nd day of December, 2022

This writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs :-

"(i) Call for the records connecting Exts.P1 to P8(a) from the respondents concerned.

(ii) Issue writ of mandamus directing the respondents to allow category change to the petitioners as tractor tiller drivers in category I in the contingent service of Cochin Corporation."

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the

learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent

Corporation.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that

the petitioners are Sanitation Workers under the respondent

Corporation. It is submitted that seeking category change to

the post of Tractor Tiller Drivers, the petitioners have

preferred representations before the respondent, which have

been duly received by them.

Having heard the learned Standing Counsel also,

there will be a direction to the respondent to take up, consider

and pass orders on the representations submitted by the WP(C) NO.41992 OF 2022

petitioners seeking category change, within a period of one

month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

This writ petition is ordered accordingly.
