Dated this the 5th day of April, 2022
JUDGMENT
Petitioner was appointed as Upper Primary School
Teacher, on a vacancy that arose due to the retirement of a
teacher on 31.05.2018. However, the statutory authorities
declined to grant approval, against which, a revision petition
has been preferred by the 1 st respondent as Ext.P5. The
limited relief sought for by the petitioner is for a direction to
consider and dispose of Ext.P5 in a time bound manner.
2. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner
as well as the learned Senior Government Pleader, I am of the
view that, this writ petition can be disposed of directing an
expeditious consideration of Ext.P5.
3. Accordingly, there will be a direction to the 1 st
respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P5,
as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of four
months from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment,
after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as WP(C) NO. 5439 OF 2022
well as the 5th respondent.
The writ petition is disposed of.
