                           JUDGMENT

The petitioner is the owner in possession of 2.83 Ares of land

in Survey No.104/5-1-11 of Karumaloor Village in Paravur Taluk of

Ernakulam District. The petitioner contends that in the revenue

records, the nature of the land is shown as 'Nilam' and that the

property is not included in the data bank. The petitioner confines

the relief for an expeditious consideration of Ext.P3 application in

Form No.6 under the Kerala Conservation of Paddy land and

Wetland Act, 2008, seeking change in nature of the property in

the revenue records and seeking permission for use of the land for

other purposes.

2. Having heard the learned Government Pleader also and

without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, this writ

petition is disposed of directing the 2 nd respondent to consider

Ext.P3 application (Form No.6), after obtaining and verifying the

relevant materials and reports from the Village Officer and to pass

appropriate orders thereon within a period of four months from

the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The RDO shall WP(C) NO. 20639 OF 2021

consider all relevant matters and shall obtain reports from the

concerned Village Officer as well.

This writ petition is ordered accordingly.
