                               JUDGMENT

Dated this the 5th day of November, 2021

The petitioner, who studied in K.R. Narayanan

National Institute of Visual Science and Arts, an autonomous

body under the Higher Education Department, Government of

Kerala has approached this Court seeking to direct the

respondents 3 and 4 to publish the results of the petitioner,

who is a student of the Diploma Program in Editing (2015-

2018) of the 3rd respondent-Institute and issue him the

Diploma Certificate in Editing and the Mark list forthwith

without any delay.

2. The petitioner would submit that he has completed

his semesters long back and passed the requisite

examinations. The petitioner has already completed his part

of editing way back in November, 2020. The respondents are

not publishing the results merely because other students in the WP(C).No.17754/2021

petitioner's group, who are also bound to submit their film

which is a part of practical examination, are delaying the

submission of their films.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for respondents 3

and 4 on instructions submitted that the respondents 3 and 4

will be able to publish the result after assessment of the

students, at the latest by 31.12.2021.

In view of the submission made by the Standing

Counsel for respondents 3 and 4, no further orders are

required in this writ petition. The writ petition is disposed of,

recording the submission made on behalf of the respondents 3

and 4, that the final results will be published on or before

31.12.2021. After publication of the results, the respondents 3

and 4 shall take steps for expeditious issuance of Provisional

Mark List and Diploma Certificate to the petitioner, if the

petitioner is otherwise eligible.
