                              JUDGMENT

The petitioner has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of

the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus

commanding respondents 1 and 2 to provide effective and

adequate protection to the life and property of the petitioner,

pending disposal of this writ petition.

2. On 08.01.2021, when this writ petition came up for

admission, the learned Government Pleader took notice on

admission for respondents 1 and 2. Urgent notice on admission by

speed post was ordered to respondents 3 to 6, returnable within

two weeks. The learned Government Pleader was directed to get

instructions and file statement on behalf of the 1st respondent.

3. A counter affidavit has been filed by respondents 3 to

6, opposing the relief sought for in this writ petition.

4. Today, when this case is taken up for consideration, the

learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw

this writ petition, without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to

prosecute O.S.No.890 of 2019 pending before the Munsiff's Court,

Chavakkad, raising appropriate contentions.

Recording the above submission made by the learned

counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as W.P.(C) No.523 OF 2021(M)

withdrawn, without prejudice to the aforesaid right of the

petitioner.
