                                   2

                            JUDGMENT

The grievance of the petitioner is regarding the

shifting of RTO office from Tirur to Thirurangadi.

According to the petitioner, the shifting is not in public

interest and it affects large number of public. One of the

contentions set up is that Tirur is the Taluk Head

Quarters, where all the Government establishments are

presently located.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner

and the learned senior Government Pleader.

3. The limited prayer sought by the petitioner is

for directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider Ext.P2

application. Without adverting to the merits of the rival

contentions, I am inclined to dispose of the Writ Petition,

directing the respondents 1 to 3, to consider Ext.P2 in

accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders on it,

as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period

of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this WP(C).No.25695 OF 2020(J)

judgment.

Writ Petition is disposed of.
