 OP(CRL.) NO. 181 OF 2021
                                     2

                                JUDGMENT

Dated this the 24th day of June 2021

The petitioner is the accused in Crime No.1065/2018,

which is presently pending on the files of the Grama

Nyayalaya, Perinad as S.T.No.170/2018 for having allegedly

committed the offences punishable under Sections 279 and

304A of the I.P.C.

2. The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the

case. A report was called for from the Grama Nyayalaya and

the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate-III, Kollam,

who is in charge of the Grama Nyayalaya has sought six

months time to dispose of the matter. I find that the time

sought by the learned Magistrate in view of the present

pandemic situation is quite reasonable. Hence, the

Original petition is disposed of with a direction to the

Grama Nyayalaya, Perinad to dispose of S.T.No.170/2018 as OP(CRL.) NO. 181 OF 2021

expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within six months

from the date of receipt of a copy of the Judgment of this

Court.
