                              JUDGMENT

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

the petitioner was desirous of obtaining the passport with

change in address as well as date of birth but the respondent

has not accepted the application. It is further argued that the

petitioner want to make a fresh application in the light of

observation of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in Writ

Appeal No.1676 of 2020 decided on 14.12.2020 and therefore

he is not pressing the instant petition.

3. The learned ASGI appeared for the respondent.

4. As the petitioner is not pressing this petition and

as he want to tender fresh application for issuance of fresh

passport to the respondent Regional Passport Officer, the

petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The petitioner is free to

make an application for issuance of fresh passport to the

respondent Regional Passport Officer and if such application is

made it is expected of the respondent to consider the same in WP(C). No.8068 OF 2021

terms of the Passport Manual and Compendium of

instructions/guidelines in the year 2018 so also according to

the provisions of law.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as not

pressed.
