 WP(Crl.).No.45 OF 2021 2

                              JUDGMENT

Dated this the 15th day of February 2021

K. Vinod Chandran, J.

The petitioner alleged that the 4 th respondent's daughter is in

love with him and she is under illegal detention of her parents. We

directed a Woman Police Officer in mufti to take a statement.

2. The learned Government Pleader has produced a statement

before this Court, in which it is categorically stated that though the

daughter of the 4th respondent admits to a relationship with the

petitioner, the 4th respondent was not interested in the alliance. The

daughter of the 4th respondent categorically states in the statement

that she is not interested in a marriage without the consent of her

parents, though she says that she is interested in the marriage with

the petitioner. The daughter of the 4th respondent also categorically

states that there is no illegal detention by her parents.

In such circumstances, we close the writ petition.
