                              JUDGMENT

All that the petitioner seeks for is an

expeditious consideration of Ext P1 application

filed in Form No.5 of the Kerala Conservation of

Paddyland and Wetland Rules, seeking deletion of the

entry relating to the property mentioned in Ext P1

from the data bank maintained under the Kerala

Conservation of Paddyland and Wetland Act, 2008(for

short, 'the Act').

2. According to the petitioner, the property in

question had been lying as a converted land for the

past several years but has been mistakenly entered

in the data bank. It is for the 1st respondent to

consider the application on its merits and pass

appropriate orders.

Without expressing anything on merits the writ

petition is disposed of directing the 1 st respondent

to consider and pass orders on Ext P1 application,

on obtaining and verifying relevant materials, as WP(C) NO. 15536 OF 2021

expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a

period of six months from the date of receipt of a

copy of this judgment.
