Application praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith the
High Court be pleased to extend the time for a further period of seven months from 14.4.2020
to comply with the directions contained in common judgment dated 30.1.2020 in WP(C)
No.33358/2019.
This application coming on for orders upon perusing the application and the affidavit
filed in support thereof, and this court's judgment dated 30-01-2020 and upon hearing the
arguments of SRI.K.P.SUDHEER, Standing Counsel for the petitioner in IA/R1 to R4

ORDER
Ravikumar, J.
The captioned Interlocutory Applications have been filed
seeking extension of time for a further period of seven months from
14.4.2020 to comply with the directions contained in the common
judgment dated 30.1.2020 in W.P.(C)Nos.33240 & 33358 of 2019. As
per the said common judgment this Court directed the 2 nd respondent
to issue notification for election to the Temple Advisory Committee of
Valanjambalam (Perumanurkavu) Devi Temple, Ernakulam within a
period of two months from the date of conclusion of the festival in the
said temple. True that there occurred a delay in complying with the
directions. However, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel
for Cochin Devaswom Board that election was conducted in compliance
with the directions in the common judgment on 2.4.2021. The factum
of conduct of the election on the said date is not disputed. In the said
circumstances, the delay in conducting the election as ordered in the

common judgment stands condoned. No further orders are required in
these I.As. Hence, the I.As stand closed recording the conduct of
