The instant criminal revision has been filed against the judgment of conviction and sentence passed under Section 138 of N.I. Act in Complaint Case No. 1262 of 2018 and affirmed in Cr. Appeal No. 120 of 2022.

Heard learned counsel in this interlocutory application which has been filed for disposing of the instant criminal revision in terms of the joint compromise petition filed by both the parties.

Leaned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the terms of settlement, Rs.2,50,000/- has been paid by the petitioner to the opposite party no. 2. It is further submitted that in terms of the compromise, entire outstanding amount has been paid.

Mr. Prabhat Kumar, learned counsel appearing for opposite party no. 2, does not dispute the factual assertion made on behalf of the petitioner. Under the circumstance, I. A. No. 6595 of 2025 is allowed and this criminal revision is disposed of in terms of the compromise between the parties. Petitioner is acquitted of the charges levelled against him.

Pending I.A., if any, also stands disposed of.
