4. List this case along with Cr. Appeal (SJ) No.151 of 2025 I.A. No. 2104 of 2025

5. Heard learned counsel for the appellant and the learned Addl.S.G.I on behalf of the C.B.I. on the instant interlocutory application seeking confirmation of provisional bail granted to the appellant by the learned Trial Court.

6. This appeal is directed against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 28.01.2025 passed in R.C. Case No. 01(A)/2019-R by the court of learned A.J.C-XVIII cum Spl. Judge, CBI, Ranchi whereby the appellant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 120-B IPC r/w Section 7 of the P.C. Act, 1988 and has been sentenced to undergo R.I. for 3 years along with a fine of Rs. 5000/- and a default sentence of 2 month S.I.

7. It has been pointed out on behalf of the appellant that the learned Trial Court has granted provisional bail to the appellant vide order dated 28.01.2025 for a period of 30 days. It has been pointed out on behalf of the appellant that the maximum sentence awarded to the appellant is 3 years and therefore it is urged on behalf of the appellant that let the provisional bail granted to him be confirmed.

8. Learned Addl.S.G.I on behalf of the CBI is present and does not object to the prayer.

9. In view of the aforesaid submissions made on behalf of the appellant, the provisional bail granted to the appellant by the court of learned AJC-XVIII cum Spl. Judge, CBI, Ranchi vide order dated 28.01.2025 in connection with R.C. Case No. 01(A)/2019-R is hereby confirmed.
