1. The instant Interlocutory Application has been filed
condonation of delay of 483 days in filing the appeal.
2. Learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that
the appellant is very poor person having no means to afford
lawyer to defend his case and no knowledge of law of
limitation. However, somehow he got knowledge about the
Jharkhand Legal Services Authority and immediately after
getting knowledge about the same the appellant approached
the Jail Authority and followed the procedure to avail the
benefit of free legal aid from JHCLSC in order to file appeal
against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence.
Therefore, the delay has been caused in filing the appeal.
3. Learned APP does not dispute the aforesaid fact.
4. In view of the reasons assigned in the application, the
delay in filing the appeal is condoned.
5. Accordingly, Interlocutory Application, being I.A. No.
1447 of 2025, stands disposed of.
6. Heard.
7. Admit.
8. Learned A.P.P. waives notice on behalf of respondent-
State.
