1. Since these matters are of the year 1998, therefore, this Court has thought it proper to appoint Amicus.

2. None present to represent the appellant/opposite parties.

3. This Court is of the view that Amicus be appointed in both the cases, as such, Ms. Sugandha Khalkho is appointed as Amicus in Criminal Appeal (DB) No. 132 of 1998(R) and Criminal Revision No. 162 of 1998, as both the cases are arising out of the same judgment.

4. Let the name of Ms. Sugandha Khalkho, learned Amicus be reflected in the daily cause list.

5. Mr. Pankaj Kumar, learned Public Prosecutor will represent the State in both the cases.

6. Let the name of Mr. Pankaj Kumar, learned Public Prosecutor, be reflected in the daily cause list as counsel for the State in both the cases.

7. Office is directed to serve the paper book to Ms. Sugandha Khalkho, learned Amicus and Mr. Pankaj Kumar, learned Public Prosecutor by Friday i.e., on 08th August, 2025.

8. Let both the matters be listed on 12th August, 2025.
