1. Mr. Mritunjay Chaudhary, learned counsel for the appellant submits that an application has been filed by the respondent for execution of that part of the judgment dated 15.05.2023 by which the appellant has been directed to make payment of Rs.50 lakhs as permanent alimony towards the respondent. There does not appear to be any coercive action taken against the present appellant and we are inclined to hear this appeal on merits.

2. Let this appeal be fixed on 15th October, 2024 at 2:15 PM under the heading "For Hearing".
