08/5.1.2024 Heard the parties.

2. This application has been preferred by the petitioner for initiating a contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for willfully and deliberately violating the order of this Court dated 2.11.2022 passed in W.P.S. No.4282 of 2016.

3. The operative portion of the order dated 2.11.2022 passed in W.P.S. No. 4282 of 2016 reads as follows:-

"4 In view of the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court (supra), the degree of the petitioner has to be treated as valid. Thus, I direct the petitioner to approach the respondent No.2 with a detailed representation along with a copy of this order and the judgment/order passed in W.P.(S) No. 3115 of 2015 within a period of six weeks from today. If a representation is so filed by the petitioner, the respondent No.2 will take an appropriate decision on the same, taking into consideration that the degree of the petitioner is a valid degree. The respondent No.2 shall dispose of the representation of the petitioner by taking an appropriate decision on the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation filed by the petitioner".

4. At the outset, Mr. Tiwari, learned State counsel has submitted that the order has been complied with. At this, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the appointment letter has not yet been issued to the petitioner. However, regard being had to the fact that the representation of the petitioner has been disposed of in his favour and the petitioner is awaiting the appointment letter, which as per learned State counsel shall be issued to him shortly, this application stands disposed of.
