1. Learned counsel for the parties are present.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the present case is an off-shoot of various judgments and orders passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and this Court whereby the respondents were directed to prepare a fresh merit list to fill up the vacancies.

3. The learned counsel for the respondents has submitted that the foundational facts about the petitioners are missing in the present writ petition. He submits that as per his instructions, for some of the subjects, the list has already been finalized and the recommendations have already been made, but in the absence of foundational facts concerning the petitioners, no counter- affidavit can be filed.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that he shall file a supplementary affidavit in the present case giving the details about every petitioner in the present case.

5. The supplementary affidavit of the petitioners be filed by 23.02.2024.

6. It has also been pointed out that a similar issue is pending in W.P. (S) No. 582 of 2023 and other analogous cases and the next date in those cases is 11.03.2024.

7. An order dated 07.02.2024 has been placed before this Court by the respondents passed in W.P. (S) No. 3890 of 2023 whereby writ petition being W.P. (S) No. 3890 of 2023 has been directed to be placed before the Hon'ble Chief Justice for appropriate orders in the administrative side as one of the cases involved in the batch cases is of the year 2018 i.e. W.P. (S) No. 6775 of

2018 and the writ petition of the year 2018 does not fall in the roster of this Bench.

8. Let this matter be tagged along with W.P. (S) No. 3890 of 2023.
