1. Mr. Pandey Neeraj Roy, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that the order dated 20th August, 2020 passed in W.P.(S) No.1565 of 2017 has been modified by the learned Division Bench of this Court vide judgment dated 31st July, 2023 passed in L.P.A. No.215 of 2021. Since the said order of the learned Single Judge has now merged with the judgment passed in the aforesaid L.P.A., the present contempt case may be disposed of with a liberty to the petitioners to prefer a fresh contempt case before the learned Division Bench, if the judgment passed in the L.P.A. is not complied by the opposite parties.
2. Considering the said submission of learned counsel for the petitioners, the contempt proceeding as against the opposite parties are hereby dropped.
3. The present contempt case is, accordingly, disposed of with the aforesaid liberty.
