5/ 06.01.2021 Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned counsel for the State on the interlocutory application filed by the appellant for granting bail during the pendency of this appeal.
The appellant has been convicted and sentenced for the offence under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
The impugned Judgment shows that the self-implicating confessional statement of this appellant had led to the recovery of weapon of offence.
In the facts of this case, we are not inclined to release the appellant, Rajendra Kandulna, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
The aforesaid interlocutory application stands dismissed.
