The matter was taken up through Video Conferencing. Learned counsels for the parties had no objection with it and submitted that the audio and video qualities are good.

I.A. No. 11211 of 2019.

05/ 12.01.2021 Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned counsel for the State, on the interlocutory application, filed on behalf of the sole appellant, for granting bail, during the pendency of this appeal.

The appellant has been convicted and sentenced for the offences under Sections 302, 201 and 316 of the Indian Penal Code.

An unknown dead body of a female was recovered and the case was instituted against unknown.

The impugned Judgment shows that the appellant is the husband of the deceased lady, and the self-incriminating confessional statement of the appellant has led to the recovery of weapon of offence, i.e., stone, by which, the deceased was crushed to death, coir rope and a bag. The deceased lady was in an advanced stage of pregnancy.

In the facts of the case, we are not inclined to release the appellant Tapsi Ram, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.

The aforesaid interlocutory application stands dismissed.
