1. While disposing of a petition bearing WP (C) 603/2025 titled "Ashiq

Khan & Anr. Vs. UT of JK & Ors." vide order dated 02.04.2025, the

Court of the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Baramulla, was

directed to dispose of the criminal case titled "State Th. P/s Uri Vs. Sadiq

Khan & Ors." bearing case FIR No. 11/2017 of P/s Uri, in accordance

with the law, preferably within a period of three months.

2. Previously, the learned trial court made a submission to this Court

through the Registry vide its communication No. 134/1st ADSJ/BLA

dated 15.09.2025, seeking extension of time of at least three months for

enabling it to dispose of the case concerned, on the grounds mentioned in

the said communication.

3. The said request of the learned trial court was accepted vide order dated

08.10.2025, by extending a period of three months to enable the learned

trial court to dispose of the case concerned.

4. Now, the learned trial court has made another submission to this Court

through the Registry vide its application for a further extension of three

months.

5. Perused the office note registered as CM No. 636/2026 and the original

application of the learned trial court dated 28.01.2026.

6. On the grounds mentioned in the application, further extension of three

months, in the ends of justice, is granted to the learned trial court to

dispose of the case concerned pending trial in his court. It is expected that

the learned trial court may not seek any further extension and shall make

an endeavour to dispose of the pending case.
